As our community continues to grow, we are taking steps to make sure our membership records remain accurate and that we are protecting the privacy and security of our members' information.

Over the coming weeks, we will be reaching out to individuals who are currently on our email list but for whom we have limited or outdated information in our membership records. If you receive an email asking you to complete or resubmit your membership form, please know it is indeed our SunLaw team, and please take a few minutes to do so.

This information will help us ensure that our records accurately reflect our active membership and that we are communicating with the right people through our listserv.

October 7: An evening with Sheppard’s San Diego & Del Mar Women’s Lawyers Group
| Join Sheppard Mullin's San Diego & Del Mar Women Lawyers Group for an evening of networking and connection at Bivouac Ciderworks, a women-powered craft beverage company founded by attorney Lara Worm.
| The evening will feature guided cider tastings led by Bivouac's expert "pommeliers," Mediterranean-inspired hors d'oeuvres and a custom fragrance bar hosted by Gavin Luxe, a local woman-owned perfumery.

November 5: AI in the Enterprise: Managing the Legal Risks Companies Are Facing Now (Virtual Series)
| SunLaw and GC AI are joining forces for a three-part series tackling the legal challenges of enterprise AI, from workforce and employment issues to privacy and data governance to investigations and litigation. Members explored real-world scenarios and saw how legal AI can help accelerate research, analysis and execution while keeping attorney judgment and human oversight at the center.

Design Your Life (Jan. 27 | Irvine) – Certified coach and facilitator Tara Ramanathan led an interactive workshop designed to help members pause, reflect and reconnect with what matters most, combining guided meditation, self-reflection and practical life-planning strategies.

Master Legal AI Prompting (Feb. 26 | Virtual) – GC AI Co-Founder & CEO Cecilia Ziniti and Solutions & Innovation Attorney Lindsay Smith gave SunLaw members hands-on training in AI prompting, sharing practical strategies for using AI more effectively in legal research, compliance, contracts and everyday workflows.

Vision Board Workshop (Mar. 6 | Virtual) – Jessie Brown, JD, PCC led members through a creative vision board experience, combining connection and reflection with neuroscience-based techniques for harnessing the power of the brain to bring personal and professional goals to life.

Service. Connection. Impact. (Apr. 22 | Irvine) – SunLaw members joined Knobbe Martens for an evening of service, assembling Mother's Day gift baskets for mothers in need. The baskets were donated to Friendly Center, while members enjoyed dinner and the opportunity to connect with colleagues and fellow SunLaw members.

A Blooming Affair (Apr. 30 | San Diego) – In partnership with Wilson Turner Kosmo, members celebrated spring and the spirit of connection with a guided flower-arranging workshop, drinks, light bites and a curated jewelry collection from Parravi Jewelry.

A Judge's Tale: A Conversation with Judge Janet Kintner (2026 | Del Mar) – SunLaw and Manatt welcomed Judge Janet Kintner for a conversation surrounding the launch of her memoir, A Judge's Tale: A Trailblazer Fights for Her Place on the Bench. Judge Kintner shared her experiences breaking barriers in the judiciary, navigating a demanding career and balancing family life as a pioneering woman in the legal profession.

Managing Investigations, Constituencies and Timelines (Sept. 29 | San Francisco) – SunLaw and Fenwick brought members together for an intimate dinner discussion on managing investigations into allegations of misconduct. The conversation explored assessing risk, protecting privilege, managing boards and other key constituencies, and navigating investigations while critical business milestones continue to move forward.
